Jethete® M-152 is a nitrogen-bearing,hardenable 12% chromium martensitic stainless steel with high strength athigher temperatures and excellent creep and corrosion resistance. It issupplied as hardened and tempered steel with very good toughness, creep-ruptureproperties, and temper resistance at temperatures up to 1040° F (560° C).

Jethete® M-152 also shows high notchtolerance, a good thermal expansion coefficient, and it maintains constantfeeds and speeds when machined. Due to its excellent mechanical properties athigher temperatures and good machining properties, Jethete® M-152 can be usedin high-stress environments such as turbine blades and discs in the aerospaceindustry. It is also used in screws, shafts, bolts, and rings that used thesehigh heat environments.

Thanks to its outstanding creep rupturestrength, Jethete® M-152 also finds use in mechanical parts, mechanical gears,and drilling equipment. Jethete® M-152 is similar to M-151 in most ways, withthe difference being that the latter is mostly used for welding.
